omg. i am utterly tired out by all the laughing i did today. i normally wouldn't believe in getting tired by laughing too much, but now i do. with all honesty, i didn't do anything remotely tiring today. other than laughing. too much.

did you realise, i mentioned tired 3 times and laughing 3 times in the previous paragraph. so yes, im feeling ultra tired right now and yes, i laughed a LOT today! like, seriously, hold-stomach-and-cant-stop-laughing-for-five-minutes kind of laughing.

so first i went to accompany huiyu in the morning for a while at aviva where it was pretty empty cos its the qualifiers today so all the big names weren't playing. got to sit at front row seats cos they weren't counted as premium today but it will be from tmr onwards. :( anyway, watched for at most half an hour before i had to rush off for the cashflow seminar at aia building in the afternoon. it's actually canvassing for hall, since they pay a certain amount for each person who attends. we all thought it was gonna be a boring 3 hour talk on financial planning, but who knowsssssssss, the whole thing turned out to be a board game session + getting to know some really useful non-boring tips about building your passive income. nvm about the passive income part, the board game was DAMN EXCITING! seriously! it plays on the Rich Dad Poor Dad scenario and was a financial game no doubt, with words like dividends and ROIs and cash flow, but they were all pretty easy to understand even for an econs noob like me!

anyway, i was a Truck Driver who earned less than 1K a month including expenses, but i amassed a fortune through great stocks and real estate and even had some gold pieces to be left over with! i felt quite sad though that i had no Babies (even though they will add to my Expenses haha) and my Big Deals dont usually work out. hahaha. there was a Doodad king in my group, doodads are like random payments you have to make if you hit them, like suddenly the lawyer is forced to buy a boat and the police officer some 'fabulous fake jewels'. HAHA. anyway one of the aims of the game was to get out of the Rat Race and i was third overall to get out along with szeshean and jean, so i won a book! like an actual, how-to-get-rich book! it looks like this:

Am i the only one who finds this exciting. haha.

So yeah it was a really fun session and i truly felt i learnt something about financial planning so kudos to the aia people, who were quite fun to be with as well! :) i was having so much fun i forgot to take pictures of the game, but we took group photos so that will come later. whee.

after the whole seminar thing the Athena people went to walk around Queensway while waiting for the rest to come. i finally bought two grips, finally. and mw gave me one of the 3 pairs of socks he bought cos i was looking at it longingly HAHAHA. ok fast forward, we had dinner then went to minds cafe at boat quay cos there was ladies night, and the craziness of the day started. omg, i dun even feel like recounting everything cos there's just too much funny stuff going around the whole night, we started with a classic that got us all high and giggly, evon then introduced to us this amazing and HILARIOUS game, and then we played another one that was girls vs guys and , oh what can i say. we didn't play a peaceful game all night and we kinda regretted it cos we were super tired after we left the place haha.

sigh, gotta love my hall peeps. don't think ive actually said this before but im glad im in Athena. everytime we're together we have such good senseless fun even when foc money troubles border on the horizon. lol. you guys can pull through foc will be awesome! seniors camp will be awesome!

im in a good mood cos ive had a good day today, and its the FIRST ROUND OF AVIVA OPEN TMR! in a few hours time actually. i am so excited, so excited, so exciteddddddd.
